Margaret Carlson noted this week on MSNBC (Olberman's show, I think) that the new Obama
puppy, when it comes, will be 'shovel ready'. Not the usual sense for the term, but appropriate.

shovel-ready: a word which sounds more like it refers to a stiff than
a project.
