"nauseous" redux

A few years ago I did some antedating on "nauseous" in the sense of
"affected by nausea" (the bane of prescriptivists):


The 1885 cite I gave is now in OED3, but Gabe Doyle of the Motivated Grammar
blog has antedated that all the way back to 1855, as I discuss in my latest
Word Routes column:
