"substitute for" re-redux

We may have discussed this analog too, but it's on my mind because it came up in a class this morning--the lines from Ben Jonson's famous lyric poem, which seem to say the opposite of what they obviously mean:  "But might I of Jove's nectar sup / I would not change for thine."
