Philosophy: Wittgenstein: "The world is all that is the case."

Literature: Gertrude Stein: "A rose is a rose is a rose."

Self-Referential: Three Black Words.

... or as King Lear said, "Who is it that can tell me who I am?"

Robin

(On the principle that mentioning Count Alfred Korzybski at every
opportunity is A Good Thing, could this entire collocation of phrases be
subsumed under an identification of the map with the territory?

"The map is not the country -- except in mathematics"

R.)
