Dr. Laura and the N-word; etymology and the N-word

Something else that has frothed on the blogosphere is Dr. Laura's use of the
NAACP as a verb: "Don't NAACP me!" (It comes up about halfway through the
clip Jonathan provided.) All the first ghits point to Dr. Laura.
