I'll frame myself because I like a lot of Pat Boone's recordings, too. But,
to me, he just sounded so uncomfortable singing "Tutti Frutti". At least he
didn't attempt singing the original lyrics:

“Tutti Frutti, good booty / If it don’t fit, don’t force it / You can grease
it, make it easy"
