The language of marriage

To my Swiss-French wife and me, the word tishiatsu (Tシャツ, which means
t-shirt in Japanese) refers to a t-shirt you use to cover your eyes
while sleeping in the sun. When I was growing up, my dad, mom,
brother, and I said "jugo de papá" to refer to cranberry syrup,
because it was my dad's favorite. Here's a Boston Globe article about
