Query--switching of sounds

Perhaps someone on the list can respond to this question from one of my former students:  Is there a term for the unintentional pronunciation /switching of  a specific feature in a word from one language to another?  For example, when some Spanish speakers replace the English *j* with the Spanish *y* sound when pronouncing the English word *junior*? Is this a form of code-switching or something else?

Thanks for any help with this.
