This one is right up there with General Sedgwick's "They couldn't hit
an elephant at this distance" (which weren't actually his absolutely
last words anyway): rebel Thai Major General Khattiya Sawatdiphol was
being interviewed by a New York Times reporter and had just said "The
military cannot get in here" when he was shot in the head by a sniper.

Whether those are in fact his last words will depend on whether he
survives - he's on life support, last I read. But what a great quote.
And what a scoop for Thomas Fuller, of the NYT, two feet away at the
time.
