"... overwhelmingly _Anglo-American_, apart from one Indian and one
_Jewish_ nerd."

Note that the description - of the ethnicity of the characters on a TV
comedy - is stated in such a way as to exclude the Jewish character,
as well as the Indian character, from the set of _real_ white people.
Like, the fact that one of the white people is a Jew is completely
otiose, given that the article is about black people and not about
European-American ethnicities.

The quote is from The Onion, which is not normally perceived as
looking askance at the non-standard or being in any way anti-Semitic -
or should that be "anti-*Semetic*"?;-).

Aside from that little slip, it's a funny bit of pswaydo-news about
the current dearth of colored nerds in the media.

Name drop: Prof. Cornel West is a family friend.
All say, "How hard it is that we have to die!"––a strange complaint to
come from the mouths of people who have had to live.
