When I found the criminal "pepper game" in Lowell via 19th Century
U.S. Newspapers, I did not find "pepper" + "baseball".  Nor in EAN.

[There are 64 hits for "pepper" + "ball", 55 in advertisements, if
anyone cares to examine them.  Just don't squeeze -- if you do, it's
yours. :-) ]
