It's possible someone has already posted the link in the last 6 weeks
and I just missed it.

What do cracking, packing, bleaching, hijacking and kidnapping have in
common? And I do mean /all/ of them, not selective pairs.

Along with gerrymandering, these are bits of state redistricting jargon
(in the US). More here:

Gerrymandering is likely best known, as it's an unusual word that stands
out. The rest are all "repurposed".
