Further Antedating of "Smog"

I have previously antedating "smog" (OED 1905) back to Ambrose Bierce in 1884.  Here is a still earlier example:

1881 _Sporting Times_ (London) 17 Dec. 6 (19th Century U.K. Periodicals)  IT was a cold, miserable, drizzly day last Thursday as ever was.  The "Smog" -- a word I have invented, combined of smoke and fog, to designate the London atmosphere -- had but partially cleared away.
