Now on Visual Thesaurus, a history of the military meaning of "kinetic",
including "kinetic event" as the ADS Most Euphemistic word of 2010,
1980s-vintage terms such as "kinetic energy weapon" and "kinetic kill
vehicle", and a soldier giving "killing people and breaking things" as a
synonym for "kinetic". Thanks again for the input of members of this list on
