Poor judgment (and language) about Judgment Day

The rapture!  Let's get it over with.

For instance the apostles creed says that Jesus ...ascended into Heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead...

Which means that the dead are still waiting, over 2,000 years since Jesus.  I don't want to wait that long for heaven.  But then again if I were going to hell, let's hold it off for a while.
