Ironically, I found the following in the _American Speech_ vol. 86 supplement ("Pennsylvania German in the American Midwest" by Steven Hartman Keiser, page 25):

"As a young adult, Noah returned to Holmes County from Indiana to marry Veronica Mast (who, ironically, was part of the small contingent in Ohio originally from Lancaster, Pa.), and...."
