Biology trumps linguistics?

I wasn't referring to the Tower of Babel. My feeble attempt at humor
involved the Noah's Ark, which I thought I made plain. In fact, the
Tower of Babel involved the creation of languages, but the formation of
language families clearly goes to Noah and his sons.
