Keeping in mind that (1) a Dialect forum is a legitimate place to discuss the causes of dialect variation, and (2) one of the causes of dialect variation is the sociolinguistic variable of POLITICAL/SOCIOLOGICAL argument, which sometimes leads to MORAL conclusions.
