Well, if we're collecting variants, mine definitely included "toot" rather than "poot", and the second verse went

The more you toot,
The better you feel,
So eat beans with every meal.

But I've also heard something like the below, viz.

Beans, beans
Good for the heart.
The more you eat,
The more you fart.
The more you fart,
The better you feel.
So eat beans with every meal.
