AFAIK, "Peace is our Profession" was the actual motto of the U.S. Strategic
Air Command for at least a few years before the appearance of _Dr.
Strangelove_.  And afterwards too. I know it was familiar to me, possibly
from Cronkite's CBS _Air Power_ series, when I first saw the movie.

I don't see the quote in YBQ.

Around 1970 I heard the antiwar addition "...Mass Murder is our Hobby."
