"conspicuousness" vs. "conspicuity"

Dear Jesse,

I have no insights into Ngram results.  But, my instinct was to check Nexis.
In a hasty glance I came away with the feeling that _conspicuity_ appears to
be most common in the context of automobiles. Without going back to the
early 20th century dictionaries, particularly Webster's, I wonder if it has
sunk into the realm of jargon.
