Shepp Smith on Fox News within the last half-hour:

"That and a dollar ninety-six will get you a Starbucks."

On his internet problems with Times-Warner:

"I'll be screaming at Times-Warner till the cows come home and make
    new cows!"

He's in a particularly snarky mood today.

Speaking of which, OED falls far short on the snark angle:

snark, n.
> An imaginary animal. Also /Comb./

snark, v.
> 1. /intr./ To snore; to snort.
> 2. intr. and trans. To find fault (with), to nag.

snarky, adj.
> /colloq./ Irritable, short-tempered, ‘narky’.

The derivatives snarkily, snarkiness and snarkish seem to be just fine.
"Snarking" is not listed at all.
