"The Whole Six Yards"

The following are all from the South.  Did "six yards" spread in 80
or so years from Kentucky to the deep South?  Say via Tennessee?  The
three are in fact from the (only) three states to the south of Tennessee!

(Or, Bill, did you find other examples elsewhere?)
