Why is it that anyone thinks that there is a need for a euphemism for a
scientific term that is already more a euphemism - "sheath" - *far* less
specific than the suggested replacement? Or not, if you don't know Latin
and have never been exposed to Victorian pornographers who used that term
as a cover for "cunnus."
