Back in the '70's, there was a TV series on the former British Raj.
The narrator, an Englishman, continually made reference to the "…
Rahzh." Aren't transliterations of Indic consonants based on English?
Hence, you'd expect "… Rahdzh." Well, *I* would, anyway.
