OED Entry for "Fox-Hole"

It seems that the OED definition should also refer to the old literal usage of "fox-hole."

The OED has an entry for "fox-hole" in its well-known 20th-century military usage, but has no citations for the literal usage referring to a hole where a fox lives.  The OED does allude to early usage in its etymological note.
