transceiver (OED 1934)

According to a Wikipedia talk page, "The earliest appearance of the term that I am aware of is on page 18 of the October, 1921 issue of QST, in the article 'Our First National Convention'—'The Chicago Radio Laboratory exhibited their entire line of products... including the new "Transceiver", a two-way set using the same tubes for both transmitting and receiving'".
