New proverb identifies beauty's source

"Beauty," they say, "is in the eye of the beer-holder."

And they've been saying it at least since Jan. 19, 1998, when it appeared
as one of a number of "Bumper Stickers" reported by _European Stars and
Stripes_  (Darmstadt, Hesse) p.7 (NewspArch calls it p. "55" for some
reason: prob. it's p. 7 of the Sunday feature section).

Not in YBQ or DMP. Apparently.
