1949 _Palestine Year Book and Israeli Annual_ IV. 66  The Nazi holocaust.

NOTE:  This occurs in the official Israeli English translation of the Israeli Declaration of Independence, translating the Hebrew word "shoah," and refers specifically to the extermination of Jews, as opposed to the earlier, square-bracketed citations in the OED that are more general in their signification.
