Pocket = mobile device version

Though I think this has been around for a while, I just became fully aware of pocket meaning mobile device version in the last week or so.

Minecraft has a PE (Pocket Edition) edition (yes, pocket edition edition) and there is a “Pocket Rice” app evidently connected to the FreeRice.org <http://freerice.org/> website.

Wiktionary has “smaller or more compact than usual” which fits though it’s not very helpful. Oxford Dictionary has only "Of a suitable size for carrying in a pocket.”
