That's the way that we were taught to do it, when I was in high school,
making it a fairly simple matter for our relatively-small - ca. 800 -
student body to out-ovate those of the larger schools that we played
against. Schools with single-sex student bodies - only every Catholic
secondary school on earth, in those days - had the size of their student
bodies doubled WRT assignment to a class in athletic competition, for the
obvious reason.
