The OED's first use for "antimatter" is dated 1953.  According to Wikipedia, the term appears much earlier here:

A. Schuster (1898). "Potential Matter.—A Holiday Dream". Nature<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nature_%28journal%29> 58 (1503)

Another source states that "antimatter" occurs in the 1948 book Cosmic rays and nuclear physics by the physicist Lajos Jánossy:

The other type of matter might be called the "anti matter." In collision the two types of matter would annihilate each other and give rise to intense radiation.
