I've also come across "Jhosephat" as an alternate spelling.  Don't know if that will ultimately result in Jhumping Jhosephat.

Nobody has mentioned Jhumpa Lahiri (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jhumpa_Lahiri), a rather prominent fiction writer.  She's originally Bengali, and while "Jhumpa" is a nickname, I assume that the -h- is not purely decorative as in the other names we've been discussing but functional, at least in Bengali, signaling aspiration of the voiced consonant (as in "dharma", "Buddha", etc.).
