ComCen - TIME only occasionally has any reason to include obscenities -
bleep both that and "cock." But, they do allow "dick, pussy." Indeed, CC
has a show, hosted by a woman, whose very topic is "fucking." So, pretty
much nothing is truly bleeped: cunt, pussy, dick, dickwad, dickhead,
asshole, shit, hand- and other jobs, the "nickname," so to speak, handy-J,
fuck, etc. Or "ect." They totally half-ass it, like bleeping "mother-,"but
not "-fucker," etc. through mistiming. Also, late-night shows re-run during
the day don't get any extra bleeping. But, apparently, those of us who
watch CC during the day are unperturbed, since that's been true for the
past few years - unless you believe that the actors really are saying
"ship" and not "shit." Stand-up comics broadcast on weekends during
late-night - from midnight on - are simply unbleeped altogether.

Of course, those who are quoted on CNN are supposed to have some degree of
gravitas. Stand-up comics on CC are usually nobodies unconcerned about
anything except at least a non-negative reaction from their audiences.
