You didn't go far enough. Black Americans have surnames that have their
origin among every ethnic group of Europe plus Indian, Chinese, Japanese,
Korean, and Vietnamese, in addition to a relatively-small number of names
of sub-Saharan African origin and ignoring pswaydo-Arabic surnames like
"Shabazz," etc.
