[Ads-l] Closure of World Wide Words

[Michael Quinion]

I have decided to discontinue writing World Wide Words, though the website 
will continue as an archive, as will the associated dictionary of affixes 
site. A message to subscribers yesterday (http://wwwords.org/final) gives 
the background to the decision.

Down the years, the discussions and research findings by members of ADS 
have been an indispensable source of information, support and 
encouragement. Thank you all.
