I first heard <résumé> pernounced [ruh-ZOOM] circa 1982, around the time
when diacritic-deficient computer keyboards were gaining ground. Now common
to see job applications including a <R E S U M E>. This is simple spelling
pronunciation (after the verb <to resume>). Cf. <sports coupe> [coop] vs.
<Chevrolet coupé, monsieur>.
     Affectations like <cache> [cash-SHAY] I consider <hypergallicism>. (As
discussed earlier some time ago.)
