WB:  For some reason, I seem to remember Catholic nuns using a <clacker>
(sp.?), a simple, hand-held clicking/clacking device used to herd students
around or get their attention, at times when silence was required. Can't
find any references to such a <clacker> or <claquer>, if such it was called.
