Back in September 2015 George Thompson discussed a quotation about the
Bloomsbury group attributed to Dorothy Parker: "living in squares,
painting in circles and loving in triangles". Now the Quote
Investigator website has an entry on this topic:

Great thanks to George Thompson whose inquiry led QI to formulate this
question and perform this exploration. QI located the saying within a
1960 compilation of "A London Diary" columns from "The New Statesman".
Using this information Thompson precisely located and retrieved the
1941 citation.
