On Sunday's Fox Sports telecast of the Philadelphia Eagles game, an Eagles player broke a tackle near the sideline and continued running for a respectable distance.  The sportscaster said that the Eagle "matriculated in the sidelines".  Hard to day what word the sportscaster was thinking of.  "Trickled"?  But a football player breaking tackles and running full speed can hardly be said to have "trickled".

On a weather report the forecaster said "there will be a hunter's moon tonight".  The closed captioning read "a huckers moon".  That one is totally opaque.

The local chapter of the NAACP is hosting a debate tomorrow night between the two local Congressional candidates (a must-see if you have a morbid sense of humor, since the Republican candidate is a lunatic).  A campaign worker for the Democratic candidate asked, "When is the NCAA debate?"
