I know what you mean, Nancy. My otherwise staid colleagues threw me a
surprise bachelor's party at the Taipei Hooters, some decades past. I was
so embarrassed.
(Another flashback I wish I could forget is Lisa Douglas saying
"Hootersville" (a veritable whistle stop) for six years. Flashbacks, light
the corners of my mind ...  And there, confiteor, you have it.)
