“Robosexual”, as in

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/19/style/sex-robots.html

“Digisexual”, word-checked at various points in this piece, has been around for some time, but “robo-sexual” is clearly a more specific, elegant, and trendy hyponym of digisexual, besides the fact that the latter is too easily interpreted as an allusion to, well, fingering, if you’ll pardon the expression. Or even toeing.

Then there’s the "robo-cathouse"—

For those who can’t afford their own sex android, there are robotic versions of a brothel. Robo-cathouses are popping up — and in some cases, are being quickly shuttered — in Canada and Europe. One robot brothel in Moscow, for example, charges about $90 for a 30-minute romp with a sexbot...

—not to be confused with the more innocent "robo-cat house”.

Another term in the article with which I was previously unfamiliar is “skoliosexual”, which it turns out does *not* involve an insatiable attraction to those with curvature of the spine. Who knew?

Anyway, it would seem that even if “robosexual” isn’t brand-new either, it’s a word and concept whose time appears to have come.
