I think here it is the "service" (between Geneva and New York) that is operated by the aircraft, not the airline. Still a dangling modifier and an odd use of "operated."

In today’s Simple Flying news is a report that

'Swiss International Airlines (SWISS) has resumed its flagship service
between Geneva and New York. Operated by an Airbus A330-300,
the flights will initially run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays,
and Saturdays, with plans for daily flights by the northern 2022 summer.'

Normally *airlines* operate planes, not the other way around.

A quick Google ngram search found lots of cases of
'airline operated', but the only 'aircraft operated' instances
were passives ('aircraft operated by Delta')
