The 2022 American Dialect Society annual conference begins
tomorrow, Thursday, January 6, 2022. The conference is completely online.

The full schedule of presentations, including the word of the year
nomination and vote, the presidential address, and live links to all the
Zoom sessions and to the Gather.town poster session are here:

Thank you to those of you who have registered for the ADS and LSA meetings.
If you haven’t registered, please do before the ADS meeting begins.

If you already registered for the in-person LSA meeting, you will have
virtual log-in access to the LSA hybrid sessions with your LSA in-person
registration. You will receive a virtual log-in access code from LSA. There
is nothing else you need to do for virtual access to the LSA hybrid

Note that the ADS sessions are *not* a part of the LSA's livestream. You
will not be able to see ADS presentations with your LSA login on the LSA
video provider's system.

LSA will convert in-person registrations to the virtual option and you will
be given a credit for the balance. You have the option to apply the balance
to membership purchase and/or renewal (extending the date of expiration
where applicable) or to a charitable donation to one of the LSA donation
funds. To request a refund or to make a donation, send an email to
lsa at lsadc.org.

If you registered for the ADS in-person meeting, that registration is good
for the ADS virtual meeting. There is no fee change. Links to the ADS
session are on the schedule page given above.

For ADS registration.:

For LSA registration:

Friday's words-of-the-year meeting requires registration at a different
link so that you may receive the URL for the event:
