The pressure at Columbus apparently hasn't reached the Ohio State
University Press, at least through 1994, which omits the "The"
from the title page of its "The Centenary Edition of the Works of
Nathaniel Hawthorne." And on the verso it does say,
grammatically but without capitalizing, "Copyright (c) [year] by the
Ohio State University Press.<br><br>
