I think you all are being a little severe. " Including you,
how many people are you dining with today?" can hardly be
misinterpreted. Although certainly "Including you, how many
are there in your (dining) party?" is more logical (and *could*
yield unreliable results without the "including you").<br><br>
As for elephant cutlets, clearly one can't have a party with just one
person.<br><br>
