Makassar

Dear AN-LANGers,

I have the following question:

How are the city of Makassar and the Makassarese language and people
referred to in languages that you are familiar with (especially lgs. from
coastal Borneo, Sulawesi, Maluku and NTT)? In particular, I am interested
in forms that are _not_ derived from the "official" form <Makassar>, but
from a proto-form *Mangkasar (reflected e.g. in the self-designation
Mangkasara').
