Passing of Otto Nekitel

I just heard that Otto Nekitel passed away on Thursday, Sept. 13, on a trip to
Lae, PNG. I believe he received an M.A. in linguistics from the University of
Hawai‘i and a Ph.D. from the Australian National University in Canberra.
