9th PHILIPPINE LINGUISTICS CONGRESS
25 - 27 JANUARY 2006

Conference Theme
The conference aims to focus on the most current advances in the study of
Philippine languages, and in the application of linguistic theory to anthropology,
sociology, psychology, language planning, translation and language education in the
Philippines.

Abstracts
Abstracts may be in Filipino or in English, and should be no longer than two
(2) pages, data and references included. Along with the abstract, please send a
separate page indicating: 1. Paper Title; 2. Name(s) of Author(s) and
Affiliation; 3. Contact details (full postal address, telephone / cellphone number, and
email address) through which notification of acceptance or rejection shall be
made. Abstracts should be sent electronically to ling at kssp.upd.edu.ph, on or
before 15 October 2005.

Important Dates
Deadline for Submission of Abstracts: 15 OCTOBER 2005
Notification of Acceptance or Rejection of Paper Abstracts: 15 NOVEMBER 2005
Deadline for Submission of Full Paper: 6 JANUARY 2006

Conference Fees
PhP 2,500 (PhP 1,500 for students)
