bananas

Hi Austronesianists,

I'm collecting words for bananas – trees, fruit, wild, cultivated. I'm
most interested in New Guinea and west, but tie-ins from Oceania are
also welcome.
Of course, I guess, I've got nothing against banana-like words: things
where a banana word has shifted reference, for instance. And I've got
nothing against other cultivars, personally, but right at the moment
any banana terms will be gratefully accepted and acknowledged.
